Home inventory increased by 7.2% for the month of March 2010 when compared to six months ago (October 2009).  Compared to the previous month of February, there was a 9.4% increase in single family homes for sale. We will have just entered the busy season for real estate in Colorado Springs and can expect inventory levels to increase again next month.

Single Family Home Inventory in the Pikes Peak MLS was nearly 6% higher in March 2009 and there were also 157 fewer single family home sales!

Looking at stats for March 2010, Single Family Home inventory in the Pikes Peak MLS is sitting at 6.6 months (compared to 7.6 months in February). There is a balanced market in Colorado Springs when inventory sits at 6 months.
