Homes sales dropped by 5.6% in El Paso County for the month of September when compared to the previous month of August. Although total single family home sales dropped, the inventory for single family homes in the Pikes Peak MLS also declined. 

Compared to September 2007, there were 39 additional single family home sales in September 2008.  Not an enormous difference but the fact that home inventory in El Paso County for September 2008 is slightly lower when compared to last year is a good sign.  The average ($239,385) and median ($200,000) sales price slightly increased when compared to August 2008.
