Colorado Springs Colleges and Universities

Colorado Springs is not only the home of many military bases and Christian Organizations, but to a few colleges and universities as well.

Colorado Christian University offers undergraduate and graduate curriculums for students who want to become leaders in the church or other career paths such as business. Students take part mission trips and other ministries in addition to classroom education.

Colorado College is nestled in the downtown area of Colorado Springs and you will often see students walking, running, and biking along the cross walk on Cascade going to and from classes. This small liberal arts college has a beautiful campus and has been around since 1874!

Colorado Technical University provides education to students interested in the business, engineering, and technology fields. Classes are offered at different times of day so students may have flexibility while earning an education.

Focus on the Family Institute offers 15 credit hours to students who choose to enroll in the institute for one undergraduate semester. Students from all over the United States and other countries come to the institute to become equipped Christian leaders.

Pikes Peak Community College has three campuses in Colorado Springs for their students. Whether someone wants to earn a degree while working, obtain additional training for a specific career, or attend a community college for a couple of years before attending a university, PPCC accommodates the needs of many students. The office of admissions does a great job walking their students through the enrollment process.

Pima Medical Institute offers vocational training for students interested in the medical field. Students can obtain Associate Degrees and participate in Certificate Programs for various assistant positions in the medical field.

Regis University offers classroom and online education to their students who may earn undergraduate or graduate education. Their heritage is centered on and values Judeo-Christian principles.

University of Colorado at Colorado Springs is located off of Austin Bluffs between Union Blvd. and Nevada Ave. This university has expanded in recent years to accommodate its student body by building a new parking garage and dorm. Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences is also located on the UCCS campus.

University of Phoenix caters to working students who require flexible school schedules. Many online degree programs are also offered in addition to on campus classes.

United States Air Force Academy
Many people who come to Colorado Springs make a visit to the Air Force Academy. If you visit the Air Force Academy, you will not miss the beautiful cadet chapel or the breathtaking views of the mountains and scenery around you while walking the paved nature trail. Men and women who choose to pursue a career in the Air Force and to serve our country attend USAFA. Many individuals in Colorado Springs participate in the Cadet Sponsor Program which provides cadets with the opportunity to create relationships and gain emotional support from their sponsor.
