Home sales decreased in El Paso County by .9% for the month of June when compared to the previous month of May. Compared this time last year, single family home sales are 30% higher.
There were 258 fewer single family home sales in June 2012. Compared to the previous month of May, the average sales price ($255,590) and the median sales price ($225,000) increased. Last June, the average sales price was $245,938 and the median sales price was $211,214. Low inventory is creating more demand and home prices have increased when comparing to last year at this time. Prices are climbing again in Colorado Springs.
