Home sales decreased by 6.7% in El Paso County for the month of November when compared to the previous month of October. Sales were 14.9% higher when compared to November 2011!
There were 96 additional single family home sales in November 2012 when compared to November 2011. There were also an additional 345 single family homes for sale in November 2011. Inventory levels continue to remain lower than they were around this time last year in Colorado Springs.
Compared to the previous month of October, the average sales price ($231,885) and the median sales price ($203,000) decreased. Last November, the average sales price was $218,230 and the median sales price was $185,000. Multiple offer situations continue to drive home sale prices upward.
