Home sales decreased in El Paso County by 6.6% for the month of September when compared to the previous month of August. Compared this time last year, single family home sales are 24% higher!
There were 197 additional single family home sales in September 2014. Compared to the previous month of August, the average sales price ($253,218) increased and the median sales price ($225,000) decreased. Last September, the average sales price was $245,177 and the median sales price was $213,000. There continues to be competition among home buyers in the current real estate market and sellers are receiving multiple offers.
