Home sales decreased in El Paso County by 4.1% for the month of December when compared to the previous month of November. Compared this time last year, single family home sales are 3.1% lower. Colorado Springs saw a dip in single family home sales when comparing to 2012 single family home sales in November and December 2013.
There were 22 additional single family home sales in December 2012. Compared to the previous month of November, the average sales price ($238,273) and the median sales price ($211,250) decreased. Last December, the average sales price was $243,180 and the median sales price was $209,700. There continues to be competition among home buyers in the current real estate market.
