Home sales increased in El Paso County by 8.9% for the month of July when compared to the previous month of June. Compared this time last year, single family home sales are 23% higher.
There were 229 fewer single family home sales in July 2012. Compared to the previous month of June, the average sales price ($256,940) and the median sales price ($225,750) increased. Last July, the average sales price was $236,062 and the median sales price was $212,000. Low inventory continues to create more demand resulting in increasing home prices in Colorado Springs.
