Home sales increased in El Paso County by 40.7% for the month of March when compared to the previous month of February. Compared this time last year, single family home sales are 21% higher.
There were 177 fewer single family home sales in March 2014. Compared to the previous month of February, the average sales price ($259,352) increased and the median sales price ($225,000) stayed the same. Last March, the average sales price was $237,256 and the median sales price was $210,000. Competition among home buyers is becoming fierce in the current real estate market; many sellers are receiving multiple offers and selling their homes within days of putting them on the market.
