Home sales decreased in El Paso County by 23.7% for the month of November when compared to the previous month of October. Compared this time last year, single family home sales are 4.3% lower. This is the first time this year that we have had fewer home sales when comparing to 2012 single family home sales.
There were 32 additional single family home sales in November 2012. Compared to the previous month of October, the average sales price ($247,932) and the median sales price ($220,000) increased. Last November, the average sales price was $231,885 and the median sales price was $203,000 There continues to be competition among home buyers in the current real estate market.
