Homes sales increased by 23% in El Paso County for the month of February when compared to January 2009.
There were 68 additional single family home sales in February 2010 when compared to February 2009 (13.5% increase). There were also an additional 699 single family homes for sale in February 2009. Inventory levels are lower than one year ago while sales have remained steady. The real estate market in Colorado Springs is seeing improvement.
Compared to the previous month of January, the average sales price ($207,430) decreased while the median sales price ($182,000) increased. Last February, the average sales price was $206,608 and the median sales price was $177,250.
